English Summative Test: The Quality of Its Items

It is crucial to implement evaluation after the teaching and learning process. Evaluation will reflect success of more important achievement students. Therefore, EFL teachers should develop a good test measure students' achievement. This study analyzed multiple-choice items English summative tests constructed by junior high school in Kupang, NTT. The result this analysis functions as feedback on quality they had created. research was descriptive with documentation for data collection.The grades VIII IX were collected then using ITEMAN software reveal item difficulty, discrimination, distracters effectiveness tests. findings revealed that developed easy items. However, still discriminatory level. which all perform well only half total
